After a short recess at the close of the 2011 Local Board of Appeals meeting, a regular meeting of the Freeport City Council was convened at 8:30 P.M. by Mayor Matt Worms with Council Members Joe Hennen, Ron Ritter, Carrie Goebel and Ken Goebel also in attendance.

Also in attendance: Carol Moorman, Kathy Korte, Jeff Johnson, Rodney Atkinson and Al Beste.

Staff person in attendance: Vicki Holthaus and Jon Stueve.

The Pledge of Allegiance was said by those in attendance.

I will be putting on Medicare informational meetings on Wednesday, July 13th. The first meeting will be held at the Melrose Bowling Alley at 10am and the second will be at the Albany Community Center at 1:30.
