The American Patriot Program, or TAPP, has announced that the American Patriot Program Honor Event for Minnesota combat wounded SSG Mike Mills, USA is set for Tuesday November 3rd at 6:30 pm to approximately 8:30 pm at the Community Center in Freeport, MN.

A regular meeting of the Freeport City Council was convened at 7:30 P.M. by Mayor Matt Worms with Council Members Dave Humbert, Joe Hennen, Charlie Balderston, and Ken Goebel also in attendance.

Also in attendance: Herman Lensing, Carol Moorman, Jeremy Birr, and Jim Niska,.

Staff persons in attendance: Paul Hetland, Jon Stueve, Scott Lange, Todd Hagen, Joe Rigdon, Sgt. Joe Litchy, and Scott Dymoke.

The Pledge of Allegiance was said by those in attendance.
